Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities, at three levels: A, AA, and AAA. Our target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. Known gaps are listed under "Known limitations" below, along with how you can still get what you need.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet fully meet the standard:
- Some tools provided by other companies (for example, an appointment-scheduling widget) are outside our control and may not fully meet the standard. If one gives you trouble, call us and we will book your time or take your details by phone.
- We are still completing testing with some screen readers and other assistive technologies. If you use one and run into a barrier, please tell us so we can fix it.
- Occasionally an image or a piece of content may be missing a full text description; we correct these as we find them or when you report them.
What we do to support accessibility
- Clear, consistent page structure using proper headings, landmarks, and a "skip to main content" link;
- Form fields with descriptive labels, and errors that are announced;
- A visible keyboard focus indicator, with the whole site usable by keyboard;
- Color contrast checked by calculation;
- Buttons and links sized for easier tapping (at least 24 by 24 pixels);
- Support for browser zoom, text resizing, and reduced-motion settings;
- An accessibility review whenever we change content or page templates.
How we test
- Automated tools: axe, WAVE, and Lighthouse;
- Manual checks: keyboard-only navigation, screen readers, zooming to 200% and reflow at narrow widths, and color-contrast calculation;
- Assessment approach: self-evaluation by our team.
Technical information
This site relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA. It is designed to work with current versions of major web browsers and their built-in accessibility features. If your browser or device does not support these technologies, some parts of the site may not work as intended.
